Serenity Spa Hawai’i, Waikiki Beach, is located in the area known as Kawehewehe, an ancient Hawaiian healing site. This was the home of powerful Kahuna La’au Lapa’au (doctors).

Hawaiians have been coming to this particular area for centuries to heal spiritual and physical ailments. In the local tradition, a bounty of land, marine plant extracts, flower essences, essential oils and minerals are used in our treatments to honor our ancient healers and to care for our spa guests.
